As the kinds of organic pigments are so various, they are named with three parts- First name, second name, and last name.
1. First name is for classifying the pigments' structure types, such as Azo Condensation, Phthalocyanine...etc, and also can classify the producer codes, such as Hansa, Lithol, and application performance also can be added, for example, Permanent, Fast.
2. Second name is for classifying colors, for example: Yellow, Orange, Scarlet, Red, Carmine, Violet, Blue, Green, Brown, Black and so on.
3. Last name is for application performance(new type, normal, high concentration, painting, textile..etc) and color characteristics ( strong bluish red 6B, Reddish orange 5R, strong Greenish yellow 10G..etc) of pigments. Name in common use as below for your reference:
